I was just browsing BBC News and saw that Keith Flint of the Prodigy sadly took his life.
The music by the Prodigy certainly had an impact in the 90s and my favourite album has to be Jilted Generation. I would often listen to the music late at night while playing certain games on my PC! One particular movie called Hackers pretty much used that album as its sound track for nearly the whole film. Even know it’s kind of a cheesy film to watch, I loved it!
I pretty much associated Prodigy’s music with the rise of computing, gaming, internet culture. There was a feeling of being angry at the world for leaving a generation behind to which many might of bonded together.
Well, where ever you are now Flinty, I hope you have some peace.
