I was not going to watch the show as soon as I first heard they raced swapped Snape. But upon the new released trailer, I decided to have a watch and I could fall asleep watching that. It felt so boring. I rewatched it again and the first thing about the trailer, the quality of the paper on the letter he receives about going to Hogwarts, what’s with the cheap paper!? Hagrid, doesn’t sound like Hagrid. Even the scar on Harry’s head doesn’t look right! Deep powerful magic, leaves deep powerful scars. The scar in this show is neither deep nor powerful.

My only one take is that Anton Lesser feels like a good fit of Olivander. I felt that there, but over-all I really wasn’t feeling it. Other cast members look lesser of what was on offer in the films. It still remains to be seen. However, it’s a big one for me, the total miss casting of Snape annoys me so much I refuse to watch.

I would be interested in other people’s thoughts, but it seems it’s such a big issue about the casting choice of Snape that the meme’s are hitting hard.
